Pasta and potatoes prepared raw in the oven is an ancient recipe, delicious, simple, with a unique, strong taste that will delight you. Good both hot and warm or even cold. Ingredients (for 4-5 people)

Pasta mista 350gr.

Potatoes 600gr.

Simple bacon 100gr.in slices

Bay leaf 1 tsp

Cherry tomatoes 500gr.

Oil 100gr.

Onion 100gr.

Salt q. b.

Optional chili pepper

Oregano 1 tsp

Basil to taste


Wash the potatoes and peel them. Cut them into slices that are not too thick. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes into small pieces, removing the seeds. Slice the onion and cut the bacon into small pieces.

Put a layer of potatoes and half of the onion slices in a baking dish.

Add cherry tomatoes, basil and salt.

Add the pasta, bacon, oregano, a pinch of salt, bay leaf and half part of the oil.

Cover with the cherry tomatoes, onion, bay leaf, oregano, salt and another layer of potatoes and season with the remaining oil.

Complete with the addition of 100 ml of water which will be used to prevent the pasta from drying out too much. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil and place in the oven for 40 minutes at 180*.

After 40 minutes, uncover, stir the pasta gently and continue cooking for another 15 minutes without covering.
