It is a quick first course in preparation very tasty that has peppers and cherry tomatoes enriched with ham as a basic ingredient.

Ingredients for 4 people

Mafalde 350 gr.

Peppers 2

Cherry tomatoes 200 gr.

Extra virgin olive oil 50 gr.

Salt to taste

Parmesan cheese 20 gr.

1 medium onion

Prosciutto crudo 50 gr. (cut into thick slices)

Cut the peppers (removing the filaments and seeds) and the cherry tomatoes into chunks. Cut the ham into small pieces. Chop the onion.

Put the onion and ham in a pan with oil.

Sauté.

Add the tomatoes and peppers.

Add salt. Cook for 10 minutes covered. Uncover and sauté for two minutes over high heat.

Pour the pasta into the sauce. I used mafalde, but penne and rigatoni are also suitable. Add the Parmesan cheese and a little pasta cooking water if you see that it dries out too much.
