Zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella and ham with a strong but delicate flavor are the protagonists of this recipe. They will satisfy all palates!

Ingredients
Zucchini flowers 10
Mozzarella or provola cheese 150 gr.
Cooked ham 1 slice of about 100 gr.
Egg 1
Milk 100 ml
Flour 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon
Breadcrumbs to taste
Extra virgin olive oil for the pan
Wash the zucchini flowers by removing the stem and the central pistil and put them to dry on a cloth. Cut the slice of ham into 10 squares, cut the provolone into 10 pieces.

Put the milk, egg, flour, salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Mix well.

Prepare the other ingredients for breading the flowers: flour and breadcrumbs.

Open the zucchini flowers and place the piece of ham and provolone on each one.

Roll them up trying to seal them well. Start the breading by passing them first in the flour, then in the batter and finally in the breadcrumbs.

The flowers are ready to be put in the oven.

Place them on a baking sheet greased with oil. A splash of oil -if you use oil spray- or a few drops on each flower as a final touch.

Bake at 200* for 15 minutes.

The flowers are ready for your table warm and crispy! Enjoy your meal!

"Flowers are jewels of nature, with their richness, it dresses its summer beauty." (George Croly, English writer)
