A very quick and simple dessert to make that is ideal for breakfast during the Christmas holidays but which, once tasted, you will like it so much that you will always prepare it. The ancient flavor and scent given by the simple and genuine ingredients make it a protagonist!

Ingredients

Flour 00 300 gr.

Whole eggs 5

Butter 200 gr.

Sugar 250 gr.

Vanilla yeast pan degli angeli 1 sachet

Vanillin 1 sachet

Anise 100 ml

For the topping glaze

Icing sugar 150 gr.

Anise 100 ml

Put the eggs in a bowl with the sugar and work well either with an electric whisk or by hand.

Add the butter melted in a bain-marie (and let it cool).

Continue mixing and add the flour, vanillin, baking powder and anise.

Stir again.

Butter and flour a baking pan with a diameter of 22-24 cm with high sides and pour the dough.

Bake at 180* for 30 minutes.

Let it cool and then turn it upside down on a serving plate.

Prepare the glaze by combining the anise with the icing sugar and mix well with a fork to mix it. Drop the glaze on the cake starting from the center and level it on the edges as well. Garnish and decorate with your imagination with colored sprinkles.
