It is a lamb-based recipe with a flavorful sauce that you can also season pasta with. Simple in the realization with a result of a very tasty dish.

Ingredients for 4 people

Lamb 700 gr.

Tomato 1 can of 800 gr. of peeled tomatoes

Onion 1

Garlic 1 clove

Cocoa 1 tsp

Timo q.b.

Bay leaf to taste

Rosemary to taste

Parsley to taste

Extra virgin olive oil 50 ml

White wine 150 ml

Salt to taste

Chili pepper to taste

Wash the lamb well, remove excess fat and put it in a bowl to marinate with water and half a glass of white wine for 1 hour. Brown the sliced onion, finely chopped garlic and chilli pepper in a large pot.

Add the lamb and sauté.

Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate.

Add the tomato that you have previously crushed and the herbs (thyme, rosemary, bay leaf and parsley). Add salt.

Cover and cook for 30 minutes over low heat. The lamb will be ready when you don't find resistance by piercing the meat with a fork.
Now it's time for the final touch!: the addition of the teaspoon of cocoa.

Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
